The Southern Hills Church of Christ is a congregation of the Lord's church that meets on Goose Creek By-Pass, off of I-65 in Franklin, TN. We have approximately 330 members and have been meeting in this location for more than 20 years.

Our first decade was one of growth and excitement. That heritage continues as we find new ways to share the gospel with those who are seeking God’s truth.

On January 14, 1986, three families met to discuss the possibilities of starting a new congregation in the growing area of south Franklin. Several families then met at the First Tennessee Bank building on Main street the first Sunday night in June of 1986.

By September 7, 1986 the church began to meet at the bank building for all of their services and by November of 1987 land was purchased on Goose Creek By-Pass, with the garage on the property being converted into the first church building. The first Sunday service was held in our new building on November 29, 1987.

Our current auditorium and Bible Class facilities were completed in November of 1993 and the first worship service was held on November 7, 1993.

Our 2 story educational facility provides the additional classrooms needed to accommodate our growing educational program, new administrative offices for our ministers and staff, and additional room for our Sunshine Day School.

God has worked with us and blessed us with a great future at the Southern Hills Church of Christ.
